Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
For Graduate Apprentices:
- A degree in engineering/technology granted by a statutory university.
- Degree granted by an institution empowered by an Act of Parliament.
For Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- The Diploma in Engineering/Technology must be obtained from a State Council orBoard of Technical Education.
- A diploma granted by a recognised university.
The percentage of marks must be clearly mentioned in the final mark sheet/certificate. If not, a certificate from the institute must be provided.
2. Age Limit
- The candidate must be 18 years of age.
- Candidates who have not completed 18 years are not eligible.
3. Not Eligible Candidates
The following candidates cannot apply:
- Those awaiting final-year results
- Those who have already undergone apprenticeship training
- Those with more than 1 year of job experience
- Candidates below 18 years of age
Stipend Details
The total monthly stipend will be:
- Graduate Apprentices: ₹17,500/-
- ₹4,500/- (Government of India DBT under NATS)
- ₹13,000/- (TG TRANSCO share)
- Diploma Apprentices: ₹15,000/-
- ₹4,000/- (Government of India DBT under NATS)
- ₹11,000/- (TG TRANSCO share)
Stipend is subject to satisfactory performance and attendance.
