Lado Protsahan Scheme—The Lado Protsahan Scheme is a significant project administered by the Government of Rajasthan’s Women and Child Development Department. This scheme aims to encourage the birth of girl children, improve the gender ratio, prevent child marriage, and promote higher education for girls.

Previously, under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs. 100,000 was provided; however, from March 12, 2025, this amount has been increased to Rs. 150,000. The entire amount is provided in 7 instalments through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Who is eligible for the Lado Protsahan Scheme

The benefits of the Lado Protsahan Scheme will be available only to those beneficiaries who fulfil the eligibility criteria mentioned below.

Pregnant women must be permanent residents of Rajasthan.

The birth of a girl child should take place in a government hospital or in a private hospital approved for the Janani Suraksha Yojana.

The baby girl should be born on or after August 1, 2024.

A Jan Aadhar card and a bank account are mandatory.

Click on ‘Student Registration’ there.

You need to log in with your Jan Aadhar/SSO ID.

Benefits of the Lado Protsahan Scheme
